writing response

choose one (1) of the following questions and answer it in the usual length, i.e. around a page or so, double spaced.
1. First, pick an example of an “intellectual technology.” Then explain what, as you see it, this technology’s “intellectual ethic” is, and how it relates to that technology. (For an explanation of the concepts used here see the “Handout on Carr.”)
2. Summarize ethical relativism in your own words, in light of the assigned readings. Do you feel that there are, as Rachels argues, some moral values that cannot be considered to be “relative to culture”? If so, what is it and why? If not, why not?
