Nutrition is so important when it comes to any fitness goals. For any activity, you need to properly fuel yourself before and after your workout. Its important to include complex carbs and proteins within your diet and staying away from fast burning sugars and fats that are hard to burn.

Assignment: Continue with your weight training logs, but you do not need to submit them. I would like you to create a meal log for 4 days during the week. 2 should be on days you workout and 2 should be on off or light days. Please include what you ate, the time, how many servings (guess), and total calories (easy to google). Also include when you did your weight training in the chart, because its important to see if you are properly fueled prior to your work out from the night before and prior to the training.
Extra Credit: Assess your diet. Write a 2 page paper on your findings. Determine if you feel your diet is sufficient, why/ why not? What could you add/subtract in the future for your diet? The extra credit will add up to 20 points to either midterm or final (which ever is needed) at the end of the semester
